Mosepele Foundation Development Forum, one of the youth led organisations in the country says, meaningful and inclusive participation in decision making, should be prioritised in the country.

The director of the foundation Mr. Maliehe Mosepele stated that, different groups comprising the youth, men, women as well as adolescent girls and boys, should be given an opportunity to take part where decisions are made. 

Mosepele indicated that, they should not only be present at decision making platforms but should participate at all levels, whether community, district or national. 

He emphasised that, young people should be consulted when decisions are made on and decisions should not be made on their behalf. He further said, the government should engage with groups from village level.

He stated that, youth need a safe space to communicate and find solutions to challenges they are faced with, as this will help reduce Gender-Based-Violence.
