(CPROA) holds an anti-drug use campaign,with Haseoehlana Nazareth’s youth

The Crime Prevention Rehabilitation of Ex-offenders Association will tomorrow, participate in a public gathering with residents of Haseoehla Nazareth, focusing particularly on youth involved in drug use, to encourage them to engage in crime prevention initiatives.

The Association’s spokesperson Mr. Khoanyane Thinyane revealed that, the area chief Mr. Mallane Mahloane, approached their organization to facilitate a community counselling session, especially for young people who are often at risk of becoming perpetrators of crime.

Speaking to PC FM Mr. Thinyane explained that, their organization works tirelessly to educate young people about crime prevention. He added that, tomorrow’s session will also address anger management and the importance of self-control.

He further expressed concern over the growing number of youth in correctional facilities, highlighting that, it is a worrying trend as these young people are the future leaders of the country.
