Minister T’seliso Mokhosi encourages Basotho to prioritize good health through Exercise.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, T’seliso Mokhosi, is encouraging Basotho to engage in regular exercise to boost their physical health, mental acuity, and bodily fitness. Minister Mokhosi made these remarks yesterday in Maseru at an Indian Yoga Day celebration.

Mokhosi expressed gratitude for being part of Yoga Awareness Day, emphasizing its importance for overall well-being. He noted that, numerous studies show yoga can effectively alleviate stress and other health conditions, such as arthritis. He stressed the need to raise awareness and encourage Basotho to practice yoga regularly.

Additionally, the High Commissioner of India to South Africa and Lesotho, Prabath Kumar, highlighted International Yoga Day as a celebration of yoga’s diverse health benefits. He urged Basotho to prioritize their health through yoga, and specifically encouraged young people to embrace the ancient practice with enthusiasm.

Yoga is believed to have the power to heal diseases by improving metabolism through body stretches, benefiting both mind and soul.
