Lesotho’s youth Organize dialogue aimed at tackling the country’s high unemployment rate.

Lesotho’s youth are organizing a national dialogue aimed at tackling the country’s high unemployment rate, and fostering economic development. The initiative seeks to address pressing national issues.

Mohau Mabetha, one of the organizers told PCFM today that, the dialogue intends to empower young people to actively participate in shaping Lesotho’s future. He stressed the importance of their involvement in national affairs and providing a platform for them to propose solutions to current challenges. Mabetha stressed that, youth are the backbone of Lesotho, and future decisions and policies, will ultimately fall under their responsibility for successful implementation.

Meanwhile, young entrepreneur Teboho Mohale urged fellow youth to participate, highlighting the importance of cooperation, collaboration, and partnerships. He believes that, by uniting and sharing ideas, they can better address Lesotho’s pressing issues and support each other’s success.

The National Youth Dialogue on Economic Development tour will kick off in Mohale’s Hoek on June 21st, with subsequent dialogues planned for other districts in the coming months.
