Nthunya also motivated players and aspiring ones, to believe in themselves and always have the winning mentality. He said amongst strategies to improve football in Lesotho; he will introduce to the committees, competent individuals with the necessary skills and experience, citing retired local football players

Amongst other key points the president highlighted is; the responsibility of the Association to uphold women’s football and youth empowerment and retaining young talent  

Nthunya was elected president after securing 27 against 24 in the Association’s presidency elections, succeeding Adv. Salemane Phafane who has served LeFA over 2 decades.
