The Catholic Relief Services- CRS has reiterated its commitment to spreading awareness about Project WASH and clean energy policies and programmes across; Quthing, Mohale’s Hoek, Leribe and Butha-Buthe districts

CRS is among Civil organizations funded by the European Union to address GBV and other critical issues the country is faced with

Its 3-year “Strengthening public participation in WASH and clean energy developments in Lesotho” Project, seeks to empower local community structures to advocate for the implementation of WASH policies

When announcing the Project, Mr. Ntone Ts’ehlana from CRS said, this country still faces persistent gaps in access to safe water, sanitation and clean energy, particularly in rural areas

He reiterated CRS’s commitment to ensure that rural communities are aware of their rights, engage the youth in issues affecting them, also ensuring sustainability beyond project implementation
