A Free State family has contacted police believing that one of the bodies claimed by Dr. Nandipha Magudumana days before Thabo Bester’s escape, is their relative.
The 66-year-old Godfrey Letsotso was last seen by family in Kimberley when his sister dropped him off at a taxi headed to Bloemfontein.
The taxi driver told the family he dropped Letsotso off at the Majakathata taxi rank and that was the last time he was seen alive.
Since allegations that Magudumana claimed multiple bodies from the Bloemfontein state mortuary surfaced, the family contacted police who then conducted DNA tests and took the family to identify bodies.
