Access to free contraceptives remains a challenge for some women and girls even though the government has made it possible.
One woman from Matebeleng Thaba-tseka Ms. Malitaba Molati says they still encounter challenges while trying to access family planning services at some health centres.
Molati said they prefer accessing family planning services at private pharmacies as they are treated humanely, however, due to lack of funds, they often default on using these services. She says they would rather stop using family planning services than to be humiliated and belittled by assistants at public health facilities.
Molati said often, this is the reason some women end up having unplanned pregnancies
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of Departmental Nursing Services in Thaba-tseka Ms. Palesa Ntlopo denied having received these complaints
