All Basotho Convention–ABC has launched constituency rallies to revive membership, with the first rally held at Ha Makhoroana in Mapoteng last Sunday.
The Conference’s Chairperson Mr. Ts’oinyane Rapapa said, the launch is held at ha Makhoroana following the death of Mr. Lefu Hlomelang, who was the Member of the Parliament for the constituency but was never replaced.
Rapapa said the rallies are aimed at reminding members of the party about the party’s mandate and the responsibility each one of them has to take, in order to grow the party, which is working hard to rescue Basotho from hunger.
He mentioned that resorting to factions has never been a solution but a barrier to the development of country’s economy and the welfare of the nation.
He said with the advent of COVID-19, the level of hunger increased dramatically, people lost their jobs, but ABC’s mandate will ensure that Basotho are assisted as expected.
The next rally will be at Bela-Bela constituency.
