FIFA’s President Mr. Gianni Infantino has sent a message of condolences to the Lesotho Football Association, following the passing of long-time LeFA’s National Executive Committee Member Mr. Thabo Pule.

LeFA’s Media Officer, Mr. Mikia Kalati said, in a letter addressed to LeFA’s President, Advocate Salemane Phafane, Infantino said, it was with sadness that he learnt of the passing of LeFA’s Honorary NEC Member and that words seem inadequate to express the sadness the football world feels for this loss.

Fifa president further said, Pule will be remembered for his commitment and dedication, his contribution to the development of football and to the promotion of the sport and its values saying, he has left a mark in the history of football in Lesotho.

LEFA has also informed, members of the football fraternity that, Pule’s memorial service, will be held at Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena at 2PM, this Thursday.

Pule passed away on Thursday last week, after a long illness and will be laid to rest in Cana, Berea this coming Saturday.
