M470 000 given to Ministry of Tourism
The United States through the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural conservation has given the Ministry of Tourism a grant of M 470 000.00.  The United States Ambassador to Lesotho, Mr. Robert Nolan said these funds will support a variety of projects to enhance the Thaba-Bosiu cultural site, including preserving the historical sites on top of the mountain, providing signage and pathways and restoring some sites that need improvement.

Still no arrests after acts of vandalism at RCC
Four months after the acts of vandalism at Roman Catholic Church premises at Cathedral area in Maseru, police have still not yet arrested anyone and attribute the delay to lack of information.

ENJL says forum was aimed to brief Basotho on some projects
The Economic Justice Network (EJNL) Lesotho says the four-day forum held in Lesotho in October last year was aimed to brief Basotho on some of the projects implemented and the handing over of the Southern African Social Forum to Zambia.
