Lesotho Teachers’ Trade Union –LTTU says, it is not satisfied with the ministry of education and training over its handling of teachers’ grievances, the closure of Moshoeshoe II High School and mandatory vaccination.

In its statement the union said, it is aware of the closure of Moshoeshoe 2 High school, following the speech made by the minister of education and training.

It further said it is concerned about this situation because the school’s teachers have not been told what to do in the meantime while the buildings are being fixed.

LTTU mentioned that, the minister of education Mrs. ‘Mamookho Phiri only spoke of how the school is in a quagmire because the buildings are not in a condition fit to be taught in but fell short of making temporary arrangements as to what should be done in the meantime.

It further said forcing the public to take covid-19 jab is violation of human rights, therefore appealed to the government, to review this directive.
