The association’s Secretary General Mrs. Mabataung Khetsi says the main aim of the meeting was to raise awareness to members to protect and support visually impaired persons as they are facing difficulties in life.

Mrs. Khetsi said it has come to their realization that many visually impaired persons come from poor backgrounds which become a major challenge for them to access clinical services due to lack of funds.

Therefore, she indicated that as the organization, they are willing to protect fundamental human rights of the visually impaired persons in Lesotho with the help of Government.
