The Principal Chief of Likhoele in Mafeteng, Chief Lerotholi Seeiso has called on public officers and the business community to cooperate in the development of their district.
He was addressing the public at the launch of newly established Car Parking lot and a donation of 450 pair of shoes to destitute children. Chief Seeiso urged Mafeteng residents, to protect this new development, as it will help in the establishment of others.
A Member of Parliament for Mafeteng Mr. Temeki Ts’olo said, because people like developments, they should ensure that they are beneficial to them, while On behalf of donors, Mr. Thabiso Maliba from Naleli Funeral Planners said, vulnerability is the major obstacle that hinders the poor to get education, hence the shoes donation.
Beneficiaries were selected from Primary Schools of Thabanneng, Sekoati, Matholeng, Leratong, Qobete amongst others.
