The relatives of three men who were retrieved out of Mohale dam on Tuesday this week say they are relieved that they will finally bury the remains of their loved ones as they had lost hope of ever finding them.
Mrs. Makhothatso Makibinyane who is Khothatso’s mother and Pakela’s sister expressed her relief that they will finally have a chance to bury the remains of her son and her brother.
Mr. Mosesane Pakela, Molise’s brother, indicated that he last saw his brother on May 13 when he and Makibinyane left for Matelile for a funeral. He also showed that he was later informed that his brother and nephew were allegedly kidnapped by members of the army following their release from Pitso Ground police station. He said from that time the idea of finding his brother alive began fading away bit by bit.
Meanwhile Noko’s sister, Lerato Noko, said her brother leaves behind his wife and two girl children. Three bodies were identified and confirmed by relatives as Lekhoele Noko, Molise Pakela and Khothatso Makibinyane on Wednesday this week before they were taken for post mortem in Maseru.
