Police Crime Prevention Committees Celebration will take place at Maqhaka – Berea on Friday this week.

A statement from Lesotho Mounted Police Service indicates that the goal of the police is to enhance the community Policing strategy and proactive policing in Lesotho as it was seen as an important strategy in preventing crime in Lesotho.

The statement further states that this is being carried out to fulfill its mandate as per the police statement which clearly states that it will work in consultation with the community in preventing crime.
