The Ministry of Gender, Youth, Sports and Recreation, in collaboration with the National University of Lesotho-NUL are planning to open a Faculty of Physical Education and Sport.

The Recreation Manager in the Ministry of Gender Mrs. Moleboheng Sefali, said the Ministry and the University have seen a need for introduction of such a faculty which will ensure training and grooming of students from an early stage. She mentioned that the country relies on Cuba to train the locals in these areas adding that by opening the faculty as quickly as possible, the country will have saved.

Sefali appealed to all with relevant expertise to come on board and support the move aimed at contributing towards developing the local talent, as well as improving the country economically and otherwise.
