In an endeavour to combat the spread of coronavirus pandemic at the judiciary, Lesana Financial Services on Wednesday handed over Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the judiciary.
The equipment comprised sanitisers and face masks, and will be distributed to all courts of law countrywide.
When receiving the equipment, the Minister of Justice and Law, Professor Nqosa Mahao indicated that employees working at the courts were exposed to the virus due to overcrowding, and expressed appreciation. He said they would now work safely and perform their duties without worry.
Prof. Mahao said it is the responsibility of each corporate sector to give back to the nation and commended Lesana for this initiative.
