The Lesotho Football Association LEFA Media Officer Mr. Mikia Kalati said the association is mindful of the restrictions put in place by the Lesotho Government through the advice of the National Covid -19 Secretariat NACOSEC.

Kalati pointed out that in response to the expectation of the football fraternity LEFA approached NACOSEC and the Ministry of Gender and Youth, Sport and Recreation to present its case for return to football concurrently.

The return to football action is in the pipe line if efforts currently been undertaken by LEFA recently are anything to go by and this is after the football like other sporting activities were suspended around March this year due to the ravaging coronavirus.
