Lesotho’s top Assistant Referee Souru Phats’oane officiated the quarter finals of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations -AFCON tournament in Cameroon.

The 33-year-old Phats’oane was part of the officiating team for the quarterfinal clash between Senegal and Equatorial Guinea yesterday at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde.

Lesotho Football Association information and Media Officer Mr. Mikia Kalati said, they are proud of Phatsóane because his success is also Lesotho’s success.

Mikia said Phatsóane’s work is crucial and need a lot of support from his country.
