Lesotho National Federation of Organizations of the Disabled -LNFOD has called on the Ministry of Social Development to intensify information dissemination regarding disability grants, as most people do not know about it.

LNFOD’s Executive Director, Adv. Nkhasi Sefuthi said, most persons with disability still do not know about procedures and assessment exercise that the Ministry is conducting to identify beneficiaries, particularly in districts where the exercise has not been conducted as yet.

Sefuthi urged the Ministry to intensify efforts aimed at sensitizing people with disability about the grants, also commended the Ministry for completing payments in two piloted districts.
