Maseru Disaster Management Authority Public Relations Officer Mrs. Mahlape Koali says the road at Mahlasela in Botha-Bothe is currently closed due to snowfall.

Koali said they have received a report that the road is closed due to snowfall which commenced on Sunday, indicating that Letséng diamonds is making preparations to remove the snow on the said road.

She said although there are currently no casualties as no one has been reported to have been trapped by snow, people should take precautions.

She therefore advised the public against taking trips in the highlands.
