The leader of Empowerment Movement for Basotho Mr. Katiso Phasumane says the out-going government lacked political will to develop this country.

Phasumane said most ministers did not make any developments since they were pushing their personal agendas by using public funds, saying their selfishness has hindered them from implementing a lot of projects planned for developments across the country.

He said what is more painful is that relevant departments which oversee public funds did not hold people in government to account for funds they have used and Basotho are not making enough noise to force them to take responsibility.

Phasumane said it is time Basotho wake up and fight for their rights and be mightful of things that happen in government so that they are able to stop all corruption that affects the country’s economy.
