The leader of Socialist Revolutionaries Adv. Teboho Mojapela says it is inexcusable that members of the dissolved parliament believe that they can complete their unfinished business in a week while they could not in the five years they were afforded to do so.
Mojapela said this on PCFM’S Midday current affairs program where he showed that, parliamentarians did nothing of value except acts of corruption which were exposed by the public accounts committee. He said these MPs fraudulently awarded tenders without following proper procedures and created bogus projects which enabled them to amass public funds for themselves.
He said this parliament is marred with corruption and members’ unwillingness to allow for productive discussions. Mojapela advised Basotho against electing this type of people and said, the time is now to elect people with integrity and vision-the qualities he said would get Lesotho out of the crisis it is in.
