Deputy Commissioner of Police -DPC Mahlape Morai has urged LMPS Women’s Network to further bring hope to Basotho.
DCP Morai said this in closing women’s month at Lesotho Mounted Police Service premises Pitseng yesterday where food parcels were given to 20 people in association with World Vision Lesotho.
Morai said since the beginning of the month, the network has been going out to the communities with the expectation of bringing hope.She said they specifically disseminated healing messages to Basotho because of the brutal killings that are common to women nowadays.
Meanwhile the representative of World Vision Lesotho, Mrs. ‘Mankuebe Nkuebe said the Pitseng police does the best job in fighting against criminal activities and child marriages.
She explained that Matlameng and Pitseng villages are in good relations with Pitseng LMPS, saying it is with great pleasure that they are working with the community and the police to fight against all sorts of crime.
