Two Initiation school Instructors in Thaba Tseka are on the run after allegedly assaulting an 18-year initiate to death claiming that they were disciplining him.

The district’s police commanding officer Superintendent Karabo Morapeli said the initiate, Thabelo Mothobi from Ha Clarka Sehonghong, had whip marks all over his body and his jaw was dislocated and broken.

In another case, a 42-year-old Motheo Ntai was also beaten to death while they were at the initiation ceremony at Liqonong Ha Ramaomane.

Supt. Morapeli said even though they had numerous meetings before the re-opening of  initiation schools with all stake holders to help avoid criminal activities, they seem to continue unabated
