Lesotho Blood Transfusion Services has seen a rise in blood donations due to the ongoing celebrations of the country’s Bicentennial

This was revealed by LBTS Principal Laboratory Technologist Mr. Khotso Kalake who said, LTBS is still getting invites to such festivals, and that they collected sufficient blood in Leribe, Qacha and Morija during the recent Independence celebration

He also urged the public to continue donating blood in the upcoming, festival season as demand is always high adding that, LBTS has decided to collaborate with the LMPS and LDF to ensure it meets its demand.

Mr. Kalake lastly reminded the public that donating blood is an all time initiative, therefore urged them to help save lives
