The Examinations Council of Lesotho-ECOL has announced the successful completion of the 2024 Lesotho General Certificate of Secondary Education’s examinations.

ECOL’s CEO Dr. Mokhitli Khoabane expressed profound gratitude to all individuals and teams involved in the examination process, including examiners, invigilators and staff at various examination centers. 

Khoabane said their hard work and dedication were instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of the exams and fulfilling ECOL’s commitment to learners

He noted that the examinations proceeded as planned and that, focus has now shifted to the marking process, which will be followed by the publication of results.

He also reaffirmed the council’s dedication to maintaining high standards within Lesotho’s education system and encouraged stakeholders to remain engaged throughout the final stage of the examination cycle.
