The Mafeteng Disaster Management Team, in collaboration with Water and Sewerage Company WASCO have urged the members of the community to use water cautiously.

This following shortage of water supply due to the effects of climate change

The District Disaster Manager Ms. ‘Mamonyaku Koloti said, they are working together with WASCO to ensure that the public has sufficient water

She said recently the water supply does not meet the daily needs of the community, with that warning, residents that the supply might further be affected

She however said the District Disaster Management Team will respond immediately, should the situation be out of hand.

In regard to this, the Lesotho Meteorological Services reports have shown rainfall is still expected before the end of the year
