Ministry of Law and Justice holds 3-day intellectual property security seminar

The Ministry of Law and Justice, through the Registrar General’s Office, recently concluded a 3-day Intellectual Property seminar in collaboration with international partners in intellectual property security.

Stakeholders from the academic, research, and law enforcement sectors came together and agreed on the need for broader protection of local innovations, inventions, and brands

A key highlight of the discussions was Lesotho’s ongoing journey toward integrating with the global Intellectual Property ecosystem

On the closing day, the Registrar General of Lesotho, Mrs. Mamoretlo Mohapi, expressed her appreciation to all participants for their contributions. She stressed the importance of international trademark and patent protection, noting that the seminar marked a significant step in promoting inclusive economic empowerment through access to global markets
