The Office of the Government Secretary says, it will launch investigations into the recent leak of government information concerning the list of Lesotho Missions Abroad.

Government Secretary Mrs. Teboho ‘Malisebo Mokela confirmed this although she stated that, she was initially unaware of the trending list when contacted.

Mmokela expressed disappointment saying, it was unfortunate that civil servants leak such secretive information, which is even titled ‘SECRET,’ despite having taken an oath.

She also said, the matter has been escalated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations; the responsible ministry, so that tough measures can be taken against the person responsible for the leak.

It is reported that, a comprehensive list of Lesotho Missions Abroad, detailing appointments from Minister Counsellors to Drivers, has indeed been widely circulated on social media.
