The Bureau of Statistics held a sensitization session for the Leribe heads of departments in preparation for next year’s Population and Housing Census

Chief Statistician Mrs. Pauline Bello said the meeting was intended to raise awareness about the upcoming Population and Housing Census set for April next year  

She emphasized the importance of establishing a Publicity Committee in Leribe, which will be in support of the District Administrator’s office, to disseminate census information to communities

She stressed the urgency of the committee’s activation, and that in addition to households, the census will cover inmates and livestock posts
