At least 55 people died in a major fire at public housing apartments in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district in China – more than 200 others are still not accounted for, and the death toll is expected to rise

Rescuers are still searching for more residents still missing. 3 construction company executives have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter connected to flammable materials, including mesh and plastic sheets, that may have allowed the fire to spread quickly. The Police accused the trio of negligence
