Amongst key areas during the tour, was a Youth Centre and Adolescent Health Corner, to review their operations, ensuring they have necessary tools including information for youth growth and empowerment

The Minister of Gender, Youth and Social Development, Pitso Lesaoana, expressed gratitude to participants, reiterating the government’s commitment to supporting young people, also urging them to participate in the change they want to see

Meanwhile, UNFPA country Representative, Kennedy Mosoti further reiterated the Fund’s commitment to support youth programmes

One of the young people, Realeboha Ts’ehlana said they need to be supported with recovery of the Youth Centre and sporting facilities to revive activities that can improve their talents

This was the first mission of its kind to be conducted in the district
