The Ministry of Natural Resources is currently engaged in a Construction of 7 Hydrometric Stations in Quthing, with the intention to complete it by next month

The District Principal Technical Officer, Rethabile Monyane says, the two-month project has been allocated more than 4Million Maloti budget. He said the project aims to strengthen the hydrological database, improve water resource monitoring and support evidence-based decision making for sustainable water utilization

He added that the stations, are equipped with modern digital data collection technology, that aims to eliminate frequent site visits and enhance data quality for scientific analysis

In conclusion,  Monyane said Project has also created temporary employment for unskilled labourer from benefiting villages.
